C+048 in invoice verification when posting after simulation

Symptom
You try to post an invoice. Prior to the actual posting, you check this posting by a simulation. Afterwards, the error log displays error message C+048. However, when you try to carry out the posting directly without a simulation, errors do occur, but not error message C+048.
