RW: Corrupt data in table RTXTL
[dataset datatable] [datatable] [datatable excel] [datatable.select] [REPORTWRITER] [SGRW_UNICODE] [SGRW_UPGRADE]
Symptom
During the Unicode conversion, you notice that several records with APPLCLASS = ‘FGR’ and TEXT_LANGU = ‘EN’ are destroyed in the table RTXTL. This is because these records contain Polish texts even though the language key ‘EN’ is set. This inconsistency also means that the Unicode preparation steps cannot be completed automatically.
Texts with the following keys are known to be corrupt:
APPLCLASS = ‘FGR’, TEXT_NAME = ‘8A5*’, TEXT_LANGU = ‘EN’APPLCLASS = ‘FGR’, TEXT_NAME = ‘9A1*’, TEXT_LANGU = ‘EN’APPLCLASS = ‘FGR’, TEXT_NAME = ‘9A2*’, TEXT_LANGU = ‘EN’

To correct the texts, load the attached archive file onto your local PC, unpack the file and proceed as follows:
1. In client 000 of your system, enter the parameter GCF with the value ‘X’ in your user data and save this change.2. Call transaction GR58. Enter the path and file name of one of the files that you previously downloaded and choose “Execute”.3. Repeat step 2) for the two other files.
If you want to correct the report texts in all work clients before the Unicode conversion, you must transport the texts to the other clients as follows:
1. In client 000, call transaction GCTR, select “Report Group” and choose “Execute”.2. Beside the “Library” selection field, choose “Multiple selection” and enter the three libraries ‘8A5′, ‘9A1′ and ‘9A2′ as single values.3. Select both of the checkboxes “Without selection list” and “With dependent objects”, and choose “Execute”.4. If required, enter a transport request.
