Symptom

You execute the costing step in a costing run. Even though you cost assemblies with BOMs and routings, all components from the BOM are missing in the costing result. In the log, the system issues warning message CO 522 (Material & not found) without an additional explanation.

Reason and Prerequisites

When you execute the costing run, you do not have the authorization to explode BOMs. The “selection” and “structure explosion” steps in the costing run were executed in dialog processing.
Solution

Implement the attached corrections. As a result, the system issues warning message CK 581 if an authorization is missing.
If you want the system to execute this message as an error message, this must first be connected to flexible error management. To do so, use transaction SM30 to create a new entry in the view V_TCMF9:
