Reason and Prerequisites
The fields listed above are only used within the OLTP system for documentation purposes or for technical reasons. Therefore, these fields are not provided for the BW reporting and consequently for the extraction of costing-based DataSources.
With account-based DataSources, line item characteristics cannot be included because the extraction (full update/initialization of delta process) is only possible using compression levels. However, line item characteristics exist in compression levels.
Solution
Without modification, you cannot select the fields for DataSources – only by using the alternative route for user exits in the extraction, the fields can be read by default. There are no plans to make these fields available in the Business Content.
